Holly Hunter is an American actress and producer well recognized for her highly laudable performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. Holly Hunter has won numerous awards and awards, among them the Oscar for her film Piano. Early on she began playing on stage for a number of Broadway or Off-Broadway shows. As a child, Helen Keller was her favorite character in a 5th year production. The mumps caused her to lose hearing in one her ear, however this didn't stop the actress from pursuing her dream.
