DMX began to rap in the middle of the 1990s. In May 1998 He released his first album, It's DARK and HOT. In the following years, he came out with several more albums like ... And Then There was X and And Then There Was X, Great Depression Year of the Dog... And Again the Redemption of the Beast Grand Champ and Flesh of My Flesh Blood of My Blood. His album... And Then There was X won an Grammy award in 2001 in the category of Best Rap Album. Apart from his rap activities, he has also been featured in films like Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Never Be Alone, The Bleeding Romeo must die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
